Graduation gift ideas: celebrate with a private boat day in Panama
A private boat day is a graduation gift the graduate gets to share: a few hours, or a whole day, on Panama's Pacific Coast with the friends and family who got them there. Strong Tower Adventures runs island, snorkeling and sunset charters from Vista Mar Marina and can shape the day around the graduate, their classmates or the whole family. Many Panamanian schools close their year in December, so plan the date around the ceremony and the holidays.

Why a boat day works as a graduation gift
Graduates collect a lot of envelopes and a lot of things. A day on the water is different: it's a shared memory, it marks the moment, and it brings together people who may soon be heading in different directions. Because every charter is private, the group, the music and the pace belong to the graduate.

For younger graduates, the Vista Mar Tubing Adventure stays close to the marina with a 2-hour minimum, and tubing can also be added to island days when conditions allow.
How to plan it
Count the group
Oasis carries up to 10 guests; Iron Covenant up to 6 adults, or up to 8 guests including children. Both boats can run together for up to 18 guests for a bigger class.
Pick the date
Many local schools graduate in December, close to the start of the dry season; schools on a northern-hemisphere calendar often graduate in May or June. Choose a day after the ceremony when the group is free.
Arrange it as a gift
Give a gift certificate so the graduate picks the date, or message Sam on WhatsApp: say who it's for, how many are coming and whether it's a surprise. We'll help you choose the trip and check availability.
Add a keepsake
"Your Day From Above" aerial drone footage is $50 per trip, and a GoPro rental is $25. Drone flights depend on weather, location restrictions and Captain approval.
Send the request
Send the request online when the plan is set. Every charter is confirmed personally by the team.
